I apologize if this is coming up with a girly background. I don't know where it came from and am currently trying to fix it. It's driving me crazy, cause nothings working =/

27 weeks 3 days

I'm trying to update my blog. I apologize...I am terrible at keeping up with it. JK thinks I'm a slacker =D We had our 26 week check up last week. Our little man's heartbeat sounded great and I'm measuring perfect. I had a huge weight gain at 25lbs total weight gain....yikes, with 3 more months to go. I had no problem losing the weight with the first two, but I'm scared at my age, it may take a little longer and require some work this time. They tested my blood sugar and did the blood panels. I still haven't heard back with the results, but I'm sure it's all fine. I also had to get another rhogam shot for my negative blood type. Normally, it's given at 26 weeks for the first time, but due to all the bleeding in the beginning, I had to get it early. It was required for me to have another one. I asked her about the contractions that I've been having since my 18th week, because some are a little concering (being strong and painful). She just wants me to watch them and immediately get off my feet, because we don't want my cervic dialating this early. The next time they are regular for over an hour, I am to call. It has really restricted my cleaning abilities. I clean for awhile, but the contractions always start, so I have to quit and take it easy. JK is getting real nervous the closer we get. Bless his heart, he is already wanting me to move in with our Pastor, who lives closer to the hospital. He's nervous, because we live 90 minutes from the closest hospital. I delivered Trevor 45 minutes after arriving at the hospital, which was only 5 minutes from our house. He's terrified that we'll be having a baby on the side of the road. =D

I was complaining the other night about how much weight I gain when I'm pregnant and Trevor said, "Mom, it's not the baby making you gain all that weight...I think it's all the brownies you eat!" Made me laugh.....he is a smart kid!!

We also bought his baby furniture and bedding today. It was very exciting. I had a bedding picked out, but saw a different one at Babies-R-Us that I really liked and to my suprise...it was on clearance. We got one heck of a deal. I got the 4 piece bedding, diaper sack, lamp, extra sheet, fleece blanket, mobile and wall hangings all for 160.00....WOW!! I was pretty proud of that purchase. JK is really tickled, cause he has wanted Pooh for him since the beginning, but I never saw anything I liked. It worked out perfect. We both liked it, so I knew we had to get it. Picking out his bedding and agreeing on anything has been quite the chore for Mom and Dad =D I can't wait to put the bedding in the crib. The furniture will not be here for another week and I'm a very impatient person. It's probably for the best, cause I have cleaning I need to do before moving it all in.

It's such a relief to have the furniture and bedding bought. I was getting a little stressed and feeling so behind. I am so fortunate to have a brother that has a set of boy/girl twins that are a year old. Either way, I was gonna have a huge stash of boy or girl clothes from him. He and his wife have been great sending us all their bottles, boy and neutral baby blankets, and all of Keiran's baby clothes...Wow, I feel so blessed! Kennedy told us the other day that her little brother isn't even here yet and already has a bigger wardrobe than her =D

We are spending our days enjoying this pregnancy with each other and the kids. The kids love to sit and watch him move my stomach around. He is quite the busy little guy....just like his big brother was. Kennedy was a calm baby, but my boys have been crazy in the tummy. Kennedy and I were laying on the couch, the other night, watching TV and her foot was next to my tummy. All of a sudden, she jerked her foot out and said, "What the heck is that?" haha At first she thought it was our chihuahua Tinky, until she saw her laying somewhere else. It was her little brother kicking her foot. Freaked her out a little =D I have enjoyed these cute little times with the kids and their baby brother. I need to get better about updating my blog, so that I don't miss any of them. I want to always remember these moments.

I don't have much to complain about. So far, the second half of the pregnancy has been much better. The pain is so much better and my stress level has went way down now that the problem is gone. I do have alot of rib pain, but all-in-all.....things are much better.

Our little man at 23 weeks :)

23 weeks

We had a follow up ultrasound at 23 weeks to follow up on the blod clot. It was completely gone...Yay!! This was the news we were so anxious to here. Big sister, Kennedy got to go with us again and see her baby brother. It's so nice to be able to enjoy this with the older kids. Trevor was in Missouri, so he had to miss it :( Our little man is looking great and already weight 1.5 lbs....yikes. I think he's gonna be a big boy =D

19 weeks 2 days

Today was our doctor's appt. Everything seems great and my doctor released me from bedrest today due to the great results of the ultrasound last week. She seems extremely pleased. I was shocked to hear of my total 9lb weight gain. I know it's inevitable, but it just seemed like alot to have gained already. I guess 9 pounds isn't too bad considering I had no morning sickness and have spent the last 6 weeks on bedrest with NO exercise. We are pleased to say that we are almost halfway till time to meet our new little man :)

I'm starting to stress about the baby furniture. I have no idea why...maybe it's the halfway point causing it, but I really think we need to work on getting this baby boy a bed!!

November 24th....Anatomy Ultrasound

Today was the most exciting day of this whole experience. We had our anatomy ultrasound today. We scheduled it for today knowing the kids would be out of school. We wanted them to be able to experience it with us and to see their baby brother for the very first time. It was a great experience for them. They had the same reaction as most parents to be do. For the first time, the baby seemed REAL to them, after getting to see him move and kick. They both had priceless remarks to make. Trevor told us afterwards that he wishes he was married now...LOL

Our baby boy is perfectly healthy from what they can tell. His heart, kidney, and brain were perfect. He is already measuring a little big. Due to JK's birthweight, I already expected a big baby. Knowing he's already a big boy kinda scares me ;)

The other problem I had seems to be almost gone. My doctor was extremely happy with the results. The blood clot has become small and there are no signs of further problems. The day was perfect for us and will make for a great Thanksgiving tomorrow :)

18 weeks

JK Here, "Lil' Man" as Dodie coined him, has started moving around alot. He has started to keep momma awake from moving around so much (something that causes a little friction in the real world but we are more than happy to deal with). We are scheduled for the anatomy on Wednesday, a trip we decided to take the kids with is for so they can be a part of this too. I truly can't wait to see their reaction. This has been the fulfillment of a dream. We thank God, through Christ, for all that we have been blessed with.

The cutest picture we've got....A baby foot :) I love it!

16 week photo of baby tummy :)

16 weeks 1 day

We had our appointment 2 days ago to check our baby and the pesky blood clot. It was a fabulous day for us. The blood clot has shrunk from 7.5cm in length to 5.5cm and from 6cm in width to 3cm. The baby is now alot larger than the clot. I am amazed at his growth. We've got to watch it throughout this pregnancy, which I didn't experience with my other two. He is usually real busy and active when we see him, but during this one he seemed to be resting. He would stretch and suck his thumb, but no flopping :) Everything was positive for us and this was a huge relief. We also got a 99.9% boy instead of 80%, so we are definitly having a boy! With this confirmation, I am now ready to buy boy stuff :) I had gained a total of 6lbs at my last appt., but it is now only 4lbs. Not sure what that is about, but they don't seemed to be worried. I am still on bedrest until the clot is completely gone due to a high risk of placenta abruption. I'm starting to get real bored, but obeying the doctor's orders! We are so thankful to God for protecting our baby boy!

15 weeks 4 days

The ER faxed everything from last Friday to my doctor. She called me today and said she was very happy with what she saw in the ultrasound and that everything looked great with the baby!!! Yay!! We have an appointment with her and the specialist tomorrow and hopefully we will have more good news!! :)

15 weeks 1 day

The last couple weeks have been a little rocky. We found out a couple weeks ago that I had a subchorionic hematoma, which is the gathering of blood between the membranes of the placenta and the uterus. It is basically a blood clot that can be extremely dangerous to the fetus. We were now out of the first trimester dangers, but learned that we were now at high risk for a miscarriage. The clot measured 7 cm, which was a lot bigger than the baby. They first referred to it as a threatened miscarriage, which scared the devil out of us. I was put on strict bed rest in hopes that the blood clot would absorb itself. Apparently this condition is more common than I was aware. I personally have not known of anyone else with this. The cyst on my right ovary is still there, but is continuing to shrink and the fibroid in my uterus is gone! On the brighter side, with the level II ultrasound they were able to tell this early that we are having a boy!! It took us both by surprise, because JK was convinced that it was a girl, because of some "Key Curse". I kept telling him he was being silly, but apparently his thoughts had rubbed off on me...Ha-ha. I was just as surprised as he was. They could only give us an 80% chance on boy, because of the age and said it could possibly be a girl. She said girls can be real swollen at that age, but I'm having a hard time thinking what we saw is anything but a boy. My ultrasound was wrong with Trevor and I was told he was a girl until I was 9 months, so I am a little hesitant until another ultrasound confirms it, but I really think it was right. We have another one this week, so we will see!!!!

I've had a lot of pain throughout the pregnancy so far due to this blood clot, which probably started the first time I bled at 6 or 7 weeks. Four or five days ago, it started getting worse. For two days the pain was climbing to the point of being unbearable. I couldn't sit or lay down and JK came home to find me in tears. We were afraid of infection, so we went in to the ER. The tests all came back fine and baby Key didn't seem bothered by any of my pain, because he was a bundle of energy in there :) Come to find out it was constipation causing the pain. I've had a problem with constipation the whole time. This time it got way out of hand and I was miserable. They gave me a prescription for it. It is some really nasty stuff. It tastes like pure sugar to the point that it makes me sick. JK bought me some odds and ends to drink and eat in hopes that I could avoid the nasty laxative (Activia and Benefiber). So far, so good!! I just need to stay on top of it!!

We were told some fantastic news at the ER when they did the ultrasound. Our baby had grown and the blood clot had shrunk from 7cm to 6cm. The baby is now bigger than the blood clot!!! This was great news, because the blood clot was way more dangerous for us because of its size vs. the size of the baby. That news was GREAT!!!! With the blood clot being smaller, tells us that it is going away and is not bleeding anymore!!

This pregnancy has been so different than with Kennedy and Trevor. No pain with them and no problems. I can already tell this little man is going to keep me on my toes. I have also been able to feel him a lot earlier.....I can feel his ball up and move from my side to the front and back to my side. I also felt him kick the other day. I had to get on the internet to find out if this was even possible. It's common to feel 2nd, 3rd, etc. pregnancies earlier. I've only felt the one kick, but I can always feel him ball up. Not sure if it's because of where he's laying or what.

We have spent the last couple of days deciding on which baby furniture we want. I think we FINALLY agreed on something. Believe it or not, the decision on a stroller has been the hardest. JK seems to think we need this state of the art stroller that costs more than the crib and dresser put together. In his mind, the stroller is the biggest, most important baby item. Needless to say, we've argued a tad over the stroller...LOL

Names!!!! Boy names are the hardest to decide on. A name to us is so important, but we both have completely different taste! We had the girl name picked out and agreed on, but we cannot agree on any boy names....ugh He may have a name by the time he is born and he may not...Ha-ha. We have plenty of time to decide, though. I guess we both just want to call him by a name, but for now he remains Little Man or Dot :)

Kennedy and Trevor both demanded a girl. They wanted a sister and that was it, so when we told them boy, they were anything but overjoyed. They both walked around pouting and frowning. They have both gotten used to the idea now (not much else they can do, LOL) and seem to be really happy about it. You'd never tell they were so firm on not wanting a brother. Kennedy has now accepted that she's doomed to have brothers. A girl has such a close bond to her brothers when they grow older. It is a different bond than sisters and I wouldn't trade my little brother for anything!! They both now smile about him and are even taking part in picking out his name... :) Not helping though....we all seem to disagree on everything :) Maybe we should go with Yadier . . .

This pregnancy has us feeling truly blessed. After not being sure whether conception would be successful, it has been full of trials and tribulations. Because of this, we are convinced more than ever that he is a true miracle baby! He is a fighter and nothing is going to stop him.....We are convinced of that!!!!!! JK is already discussing the next one......WHAT??? He said this one needs a playmate, because the other two are older and Kennedy is only four years from college. I am actually considering it, but we will have to wait and see. I told him that we'd probably end up with another boy....Kennedy would be gone and mom would be at home with 3 mean boys...WHEW....don't know about that :)

6 weeks 3 days

3 days ago we had an ultrasound and got to see the babies heartbeat. This was a remarkable experience for us!!!   One of my friends asked what it looked like and I said a dot, so Jk and I are now calling it Dot :)  Nothing really new to tell...still real tired, but I will take being tired over morning sickness any day!  I typically only feel refreshed a few hours out of the whole day....I think this has been the most tired of all 3 pregnancys :)  French Fries have been my only craving and the indegestion I have is a killer.  Everyone is already asking what we want to have.  It doesn't matter to us as long as he or she is healthy.  Kennedy and Trevor both want a baby sister.  Trevor, because he is afraid of a replacement . . . Kennedy, because she doesn't want another little brother . . . :)  We have visited a few baby stores and I think Daddy secretly wants a baby girl and I think Mommy wants a baby boy.  Jk is always about the little girl stuff and I'm all about the baby boy stuff.  Either way....we are thrilled!!!

Beginning baby tummy at 5 weeks :)

5 Weeks 2 days

I am starting this blog now at 5 weeks and 2 days, but will not be sharing it
until I am past my first trimester.  I told everyone right away due to being so dang excited.  After an intense and expensive tubal reversal surgery and months and months of no success, I was overly estatic to hear our good news.  I have some challenges with this one that I was suprised to find out, but with our faith in God, we know that everything will be fine :)

I did find out that my starting weight is the exact same as it was with Kennedy and Trevor.  I also gained 46 lbs with both, so 46lbs here I come!  I have had no morning sickness so far just really, really tired.  I have had no cravings yet, but by the look of the list of groceries in my cart today this may soon change :)

Jk has been too cute.  He has wanted a baby for so long.  He's so excited and giddy over the whole thing and doesn't want to miss a bit....He is definitly spoiling me!

Jk had the stork specially made for our new addition coming next year!
